Prime Line Takes its Eco-Responsible Initiative on the Road
Bridgeport, Connecticut-based Prime Line announced rave reviews for its Eco-Responsible class at the ASI Show in New York earlier this month. The class was offered as part of Prime Line’s Eco-Responsible Initiative, designed to educate distributors with straightforward Eco-Responsible information in order to help buyers make informed decisions on products and services that are termed “green” in today’s market.
"Just because a supplier tells you a product is ‘green’ doesn't mean you should stop there and just sell the product as 'green,'" said Jeff Lederer, executive vice president of Prime Line, in his education session entitled, Green Update: Product Trends, Hot Markets and Selling Techniques. Lederer added, "Really learn what the product is made of, how its made and how its packaged, so you can feel comfortable answering your clients questions. And of course, ask your clients how they define eco-friendly so you can match a product to their needs.”
As part of its Eco-Responsible initiative, Prime Line promises to convey what eco-responsible materials and energy are used in each of its products, what portion of the product the designation applies to, and what defines a product as eco-responsible so that buyers can make more informed choices in their purchases. Additional resources and information are also available as part of this initiative to help companies improve their own practices and make educated choices.
