CASE STUDY 1: Custom Color Order
Terry Chen, general manager of Landway International, offered a case study. "We just completed an 800-piece order between a men's and ladies' fleece jacket and a unisex fleece vest for a client looking to have a custom-colored fleece and private label," Chen said. "The client wanted a crimson red that is darker than our standard red and lighter than our maroon. We made a sample within two weeks and delivered to the client within eight weeks. So aside from the 26 shades of color in fleece, Landway can provide custom color of any PMS color, and in lower minimums and faster delivery than our competitors."

CASE STUDY 2: Reward Program
Tom Alavi, Ash City USA's inside sales supervisor, explained a school reward campaign that used the North End Hybrid Performance Fleece Jacket (Victory). "A distributor has gotten together with a few of the school boards in the Michigan and Los Angeles areas to start an 'achieve-to-reward campaign' for their students," Alavi said. "Students-who meet the requirements, whether it is achieving a certain GPA, attendance record or athletic achievement-will be rewarded with a prize of their choice. This year, the school boards have decided to use apparel as an option for this reward and have asked the distributor to source some trendy pieces," he said, noting that they chose the Victory jacket. "This item was met with such rave reviews that some of the school boards are even considering adding them to their uniform program, as it has always been difficult to get the students to appreciate and enjoy their uniform pieces," he added.

It may be between seasons; it may be chilly with the air conditioning blasting; or it may be so frigid outside that a heavy jacket just doesn't provide enough warmth. In all of these cases, fleece is key to staying warm. End-users can wear fleece year-round to stay comfortable inside or outside, at work or while working out.
