We've been seeing a lot of headlines pop up about smart apparel recently. With the concept being so new, it's hard to say which direction the tech will go in, but it looks like video games might be one option.
According to BGR, Japanese smart clothing startup Xenoma created E-Skin shirts with sensors to track body movements that translate into on-screen actions.
The company revealed the apparel at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and it seems to be getting attention.

We're not sure if this technology will catch on, but it certainly has some potentially huge implications for augmented reality and virtual reality. The company also plans on making the apparel appealing for fitness reasons, too. It is looking for technology that can track users' runs and more health data with its sensors.
The Xenoma T-shirts will sell for $400 to $500 later this year.
