Boxercraft Inc., Atlanta, announced it will sponsor the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, held Oct. 11-12, 2014. To show its support, the company will donate a portion of October sales of its special-edition Pom Pom Pullover to It's the Journey Inc., producer of the walk. The women's tops are available for a limited time in black, white and fuchsia.
"Over one thousand women will be walking on Oct. 11-12 to raise awareness for breast cancer," said Shelley Foland, Boxercraft CEO. "Boxercraft is pleased to support their effort. A portion of the sales of our Hope Pom Pom Pullover will be donated to the organization. Additionally, we are happy to provide this year's Victory and Survivor T-shirts."
Produced by It's the Journey Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer is a 30-mile, two-day walk throughout the greater Atlanta metro area. Funds raised by It's the Journey and the Atlanta 2-Day Walk—the organization's flagship event—are used to support breast health care at medical facilities throughout Georgia. This funding helps to provide screening, early detection, counseling, education and support services to tens-of-thousands of Georgians affected by breast cancer each year.
