Branded footwear is having a moment. Game of Thrones Adidas, Led Zeppelin Vans, Post Malone Crocs—everywhere you look, big names are collaborating with shoe brands, bringing the promo and retail worlds together. To get the details on the seemingly exploding branded footwear situation, we talked to Bill Feldberg, a true sneakerhead and executive vice president of business development for Something Inked, the promo company based in Nashville, Tenn.

Bill, whose sneaker collection is surpassed only by his shoe knowledge, told us about Vans, Crocs and other shoe companies that have surged after upping their branded footwear offerings. He also told us about Nike, whose 420 shoe releases (including its latest Dog Walker) represent the epitome of great design, and gave us the scoop on the promotional products tie-ins shoe brands use for their big launches.
