Stormtech Performance Apparel Launches Latest Leading-edge Collection
On July 18, 2014, Stormtech Performance Apparel, Vancouver, BC, Canada, a global leader in designing high-performance, technical apparel for the promotional products and retail industries, announced the launch of its fall/winter 2014 collection. With over 40 new styles and colors added to the company's already vast line of performance apparel, bags and accessories, the team at Stormtech has been gearing up for a busy and exciting fall/winter season.
For the upcoming season, Stormtech has continued to innovate and design highly technical, waterproof and feature-rich products for industrial and recreational applications. The fall/winter 2014 collection further enhances Stormtech's popular categories like technical outerwear, lightweight shells and softshells, along with an expanded waterproof bag collection. Furthermore, a new wool jacket collection will no doubt strengthen the Corporate Casual line that currently includes leather jackets, cotton casual jackets, and cotton knit shirts and tops.
Popular and trending style highlights for this season include: the highly technical XJ-3 Oasis Softshell with external sealed seams, 8,000 waterproof/3,000 breathability ratings, waterproof zippers, and a removable/stowable hood; the feature-rich PLJ-1 Meridian Storm Shell with 10,000 waterproof/10,000 breathability ratings, ultra-soft herringbone fabric, external storm flap, and technical pockets; the high style WRS-4 Lexington Wool Jacket with diamond quilted polyfill lining and a stylish front button closure; and the 100 percent waterproof WBP-4 Mariner Waterproof Backpack with technical pockets and padded back and shoulder straps.
"We are thrilled to launch our newest collection and begin sharing it with our customers," noted company founder and CEO, Blake Annable. "Through listening to valuable feedback from our customers and extensive product development processes, we truly believe this is our most technical, diverse, and highest quality collection we have ever produced."
This past spring, Stormtech travelled across Iceland to test and capture the new products in extreme environments. The inspiration for this shoot came after researching into the most extreme environments on the planet - a location that would best capture the product and brand. Iceland stood apart because of its natural beauty and vast selection of rugged landscapes. Stormtech's fall/winter 2014 catalog is full of awe-inspiring images that showcase the brand in a unique and dramatic setting.
