Senator Promotional Group USA, based in Greensboro, N.C., announced the appointment of two senior additions to its marketing and sales service teams.
After a two-year absence, Carol Gauger returns to Senator’s subsidiary Dart in the role of vice president, marketing and will report to Dale Baur, vice president, sales and marketing for both the Senator and Dart brands. Gauger is a 15-year veteran of the promotional products industry and last served as senior manager, member relations for Promotional Products Advertising International in Irving, Texas. Prior to that, Gauger served at Dart Business Accessories as marketing director. “Carol brings a wealth of industry experience and intimate Dart knowledge to bear on the growth strategies being developed for both our brands,” said Jim Burrow, MAS, president and CEO, Senator Promotional Group USA, “and we look forward to her forthcoming contributions to our progress.”
In addition, Jayne Corrente joins the company as its new customer-service manager. Corrente brings more than 20 years experience with the Quill Company, based in Providence, R.I., having spent the majority of that time as Quill’s customer-service manager. Corrente will focus her immediate attention on Senator customer-service to ensure the continuing integration of operations with Dart remain as seamless as possible. Thereafter, she will have responsibility for all the Senator Promotional Group USA customer-service functions and will report to Doug Maxey, vice president, sales services. “Having someone of Jayne’s caliber and reputation is a terrific bonus,” said Maxey. “Jayne’s ties to the industry’s customer base are long and deep and her many distributor friends will find her just as willing to serve them on Senator’s fine line of writing instruments as on Dart’s diverse business accessories offering,” he concluded.
