Prime Line, Bridgeport, Conn., announced it has received full certification by the Chicago-based Quality Certification Alliance (QCA). To achieve this certification, Prime Line had to successfully pass a detailed review of its product safety, quality, social and environmental practices, including a comprehensive review of its procedures, a four-day audit of its headquarters in Bridgeport, Conn., and audits of several of its factories in China.
“As a founding member of the Quality Certification Alliance LLC, we are committed to providing our distributors with the safest and highest-quality promotional products in the industry,” said Rick Brenner, Prime Lines’ president and CEO. “This is not a new priority for us. We have had our own lab and lead testing program in place at Prime since 2007, long before CPSIA was enacted. Every product in our inventory has been tested for compliance with CPSIA and other regulations, and we continue to test every container that arrives at our dock.”
The Quality Certification Alliance is an independent, nongovernmental organization established to implement standards and certify that member companies within the promotional products industry are providing consistently safe, high-quality, socially compliant and environmentally conscientious merchandise. As a founding member, Prime Line and QCA are dedicated and focused on the vision and promise of providing safe products to corporate America and their constituents.
