The fire was located on the left side of the building, where the company keeps its kilns. Patrick O'Hara, the owner of W.C. Bunting, said that flames were trapped between a drop ceiling and the building's original tin ceiling.
The company announced on its website that despite the damage to the factory, it is still making kiln-fired products on schedule, and that clients will be notified if their order's ship date will be affected.
