Bodek and Rhodes Makes Two Big Announcements
Bodek and Rhodes Launches Industry's First 3-D Catalog
Philadelphia-based Bodek and Rhodes recently unveiled a 3-D performance catalog featuring two of the wholesalers’ top brands: adidas and UltraClub. As one of the nation’s leading wholesalers of imprintable activewear, the company developed the catalog to build excitement around the extensive collection of active performance wear.
The catalog was shipped to selected customers along with a pair of 3-D glasses. And while the images are still clear without them, using the glasses creates the illusion of three-dimensional movement in each of the product photos.
“This catalog doesn’t just show activewear,” said head of creative and graphic design Tricia Benedetto. “The catalog itself is active. It draws customers in to see the performance in full, life-like 3-D to really emphasize the benefits of performance wear.”
Customers interested in obtaining their own 3-D performance catalog should contact Bodek and Rhodes at (800) 523-2721.
Bodek and Rhodes Private Label Reveals Innovative New Logo
Philadelphia-based Bodek and Rhodes, one of the nation’s leading wholesalers of imprintable activewear, unveiled a new identity for their premier private-label brand, UltraClub.
Coming on the heels of the company’s largest product expansion in Bodek and Rhodes' history, UltraClub now boasts more than 200 styles, including a variety of new performance-oriented apparel.
“UltraClub isn’t just the original private label. It’s our brand and we’re making sure it stays original,” said Mike Rhodes, president. “Much of the line is focused on performance for every arena, and not just athletics. Yes, moisture-wicking comfort is a big part of what UltraClub offers, but so are everyday performance concerns like no-shrink and no-fade polos, easy-care and wrinkle-free oxfords, and ring-spun organic cotton that’s soft on the Earth.”
The company decided to update UltraClub's identity to better encapsulate the character of the brand. Tricia Benedetto, award-winning head of creative and graphic design, noted: “Performance apparel is, and will continue to be, an important part of the UltraClub line. So we wanted the new logo to reflect the energy, excitement and innovation that’s at the heart of this brand.”
The swooping new logo and identity is already being used in advertisements and on the company’s Web site, while updates to the tags on individual styles will go through a rolling change.
