Lincoln, Rhode Island-based A.T. Cross Company announced a licensing agreement with FranklinCovey Products, the official consumer products licensee of the Salt Lake City-based FranklinCovey Co. brand and manufacturer of binders, laptop bags, and other productivity and organizational tools and accessories. Under the agreement, A.T. Cross Company will license the FranklinCovey Products brand name on a global basis.
The new line of FranklinCovey-branded pens is immediately available at Staples stores nationwide. Additional distribution channels will be added next spring with other office supply stores and select mass retailers in the United States. International distribution will be underway by late 2010.
“Cross has world-renowned writing instrument and design capabilities and pairs extremely well with the FranklinCovey brand,” said FranklinCovey Products CEO Sarah Merz. “This agreement marks a new focus for us in extending the FranklinCovey Products brand into relevant categories, domestically and internationally.”
FranklinCovey Products’ International senior vice president, John W. We see this as the first of many domestic and international licensing agreements to come.”
