Ad Trends Advertising Inc. Merges with Custom Specialties LLC

Ad Trends Advertising Inc., a Blue Springs, Missouri-based distributor, announced that it has merged with Overland Park, Kansas-based distributor Custom Specialties LLC.

"By combining the companies' strengths and having offices on both sides of the state line, [it] will provide a huge benefit to our clients and personnel," Mark Cromwell, president of Ad Trends Inc., said in a press release.

Pat Hughes, president of Custom Specialties LLC, said in the press release that he believes the companies' combined sales revenue could be more than $10 million for 2016.

"Ad Trends has a great reputation in the Kansas City metro area for providing comprehensive branded merchandise and marketing solutions," Hughes said. "The idea of adding Mark and his team to the best collection of people we've ever had at Custom Specialties will allow us to increase our product offering to our existing client base, as well as market [the] Custom Specialties brand to a much broader scope of potential clients."

The two companies will operate under the Custom Specialties LLC name with fulfillment at the company's Overland Park, Kan., location.
