Question: We have some recurring errors in our QuickBooks. No one will take ownership of the errors, but I need to find out who made them. Is there a way to do that?
Answer: QuickBooks Premier and Enterprise have a report that should give you that information. It’s called an "Audit Trail." This will list entries and adjustments made by date and by user. For instance, if your username is "Jim," this report will show all entries made when the user Jim is logged in and making entries. This is one of the reasons why it is important to set up each person who uses QuickBooks with their own username and login information.
