George Clooney is better dressed than you. Yes, he has movie-star looks and more money than several third-world countries, but the secret to his success is the suit—the man practically sleeps in a three-piece. The mechanics of a successful awards program are fairly straightforward. Someone does something you like. You give them an award to show your appreciation. They accept said award and smile. Handshakes ensue. Clapping and/or cake may be involved. That's not the hard part.
Based on my love of Lost, I decided to check out FlashForward last Thursday. It was okay I guess. Overall I wasn't too impressed. If Seigal doesn’t like something in the script, there’s a good chance it won’t make it onto the show.
“He reads every script before it airs,” says “Entourage” creator/executive producer/head writer Doug Ellin. “He’s probably the first person after the show’s inner circle who sees them.” So is Seigal some highly respected Hollywood insider? A famous screenwriter?

Spring Fashion Week, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, has come to a close. The palpable excitement I was hoping for was not there. The near brush with celebrity and the sense of discovery—almost gone. The industry, at times, seemed to clash with its future while dusting off its Victorian past.
