World Emblem International Did Not Acquire Brandango Incorporated
Public documents verify Sir Brandzalot Corporation formerly known as Brandango Incorporated was not sold as stated in a misleading press release back in 2008.
The ongoing legal litigation between World Emblem International, Inc. and the Sir Brandzalot Corporation ended in May of this year. The lawsuit has been dismissed and a confidential settlement agreement requested by World Emblem International has been signed between both parties. Founder and CEO of Sir Brandzalot Michael Lara, has had a great challenge in setting the records straight with past valued customers and vendors. Over the past year, many vendors and customers were under the impression that World Emblem International Inc. had acquired the corporation back in August of 2008. Brandango Inc. had entered into an asset purchase agreement to sell the brand name of myBrandango.com to World Emblem International, but Brandango Inc. was never sold as a company according to public documents.
World Emblem International had released a press release issued in August of 2008 stating they had acquired Brandango Inc. and subsequently posted it on their website; leading customers and vendors to believe it was operating Brandango Inc. A federal trademark application also was submitted by World Emblem International stating that the myBrandango.com mark was in use since its inception in 2007 by Randy Carr, CEO of World Emblem International, Inc. The trademark application has since been abandoned and a second application now reflects that the mark’s original owner is Sir Brandzalot Corporation formerly known as Brandango Incorporated founded by Lara according to public record at the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Web site.
Lara is a people-centric leader in business with a unique, military-leadership background. His leadership style has been featured in top national publications such as Business Week, New York Times, Success Magazine, Executive Decision Magazine and many other national publications. Lara was also listed as VIP in the Metropolitan Who's Who in 2007 and is a current professional practitioner member of the American Marketing Association.
Sir Brandzalot Corporation will proudly continue The Sir Brandzalot Children’s Foundation which receives a percentage of all of the company's sales for the benefit of terminally ill children, children hospitals and needy families throughout the U.S.
