For the past year, the 14 founding members of the not-for-profit Quality Certification Alliance (QCA) have been working to establish certification standards as well as define and test a comprehensive accreditation program. With all the pieces in place, the Chicago-based QCA is now accepting new member applications.
“Industry manufacturers and importers, who are the entry points for products into the promotional products marketplace, have been looking for a way to effectively address client product safety concerns. Opening QCA membership up to industry suppliers represents the next step in the evolution of our organization,” said D E Fenton, QCA executive director. “Based on an independent third-party audited standard, the QCA Seal of Approval offers the credibility Fortune 500 companies require for promotional products purchases.”
When a company joins QCA and begins developing its compliance program, it receives a road map and expert feedback to follow during the development phase to accelerate the process, reduce the cost and allow members to quickly realize a return on their safe product investments. Additionally, QCA members are kept abreast of continually changing product safety regulations with product safety expert downloads to make better sense of the requirements and quickly identify how to apply these changes to their specific product categories.
