SAAGNY Winter Showcase Postponed
The Executive Committee of the SAAGNY Board of Directors, New Rochelle, N.Y., made the unprecedented decision to postpone the SAAGNY Winter Showcase, scheduled for Thursday, February 13. The show has been rescheduled and will be held on Friday, February 21.
With a major snow storm forecast for the New York metropolitan area beginning in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 13 and continuing throughout much of the day, the board concluded that it was best to postpone the event in the interest of the safety of all exhibitors and attendees. "A lot of time and energy went in to planning the SAAGNY Winter Showcase, and significant consideration was given to this decision," said SAAGNY president George Gorniok, MAS. "In the end, we felt the only prudent decision was to delay the show for a week. The show was going to be a rousing success this week and we know it will be a rousing success next week!"
The rescheduled show will proceed exactly as the original show was planned. Exhibitor setup is on Thursday evening, February 20 from 6:00-to-10:00 p.m. and Friday morning from 7:00-to-9:45 a.m. The Hot New Products! education seminar, sponsored by Bulova, will be held from 8:30-to-10:00 a.m., with the doors to the show floor opening at 10:00 a.m. All distributor attendees will receive a SAAGNY Winter Heat coupon book flash drive, sponsored by Leed's, and all attendees can enter drawings for one of many great door prizes.
