Westbury, New York-based Motivators Promotional Products announced that Annette Johnson has been named to a new position in the company, human resources manager. Johnson will primarily be responsible for serving as a link between management and employees, as well as handling all staffing duties.
A graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, N.Y., Johnson brings six-plus years of experience in the human resources field to her new position at Motivators. In addition to being the HR manager of a New York-based non-profit organization, Johnson has provided several businesses with HR consultation services. She is currently attending St. Joseph’s College for her Master’s Degree in Human Resources with an expected graduation date of December 2010 after which time she will continue on to receive her Executive MBA.
The human resource manager position is new to Motivators, and was created initially to facilitate staffing additions due to the company’s substantial increase in business over the past year. In addition to recruitment and training new staff members, Johnson will be fundamental in day-to-day company operations. In regards to her new position at the company, Johnson is looking forward to working with the staff. “I’m extremely excited to be working in a company environment that is so family-oriented and close-knit,” said Johnson.
