Distributor Poll: What Do You Think About the California Promotional Products Ban?
Over the weekend, California Governor Jerry Brown announced a ban on state agencies purchasing promotional products. Referring to premium and incentive products as "unnecessary items" and as things "which likely end up in landfills," Governor Brown announced the ban as part of his plan to cut $363 million from the state's budget. According to the governor's website, the state spent $7.5 million on promotional products between 2007 and 2010.
