Noteworthy Perfects Process of Digital Printing on Plastic
Noteworthy, a family-owned manufacturer of promotional products based in Amsterdam, N.Y., announced it was the first supplier to digitally print on plastic. Noteworthy’s new digital-printing process enables advertisers to print full-color images on plastic bags, even in low quantities. Additionally, the company announced there are no plate charges, no color adders and no minimum-order quantity.
“Digital printing is our most exciting product announcement ever,” said Carol Constantino, president. “The benefits of digital printing are tremendous and the print quality on our digital press goes beyond anything in existence.”
Noteworthy’s high-definition printing will deliver images at three times the resolution of traditional process printing (900 dpi versus 300 dpi). Furthermore, the company touted simplified pricing as another benefit of digital printing. Every bag size has just one price, which holds regardless of quantity or colors.
