A Minor League Baseball Team Crowdsourced Its Jersey Design and It Went Horribly Wrong

Usually, when a minor league baseball team runs a new uniform promotion, it's a home run. However, this new West Michigan Whitecaps Snapchat Selfie jersey is just plain wrong.

According to Detroit Sports Nation, the Whitecaps will wear these jerseys against the Dayton Dragons on June 29, and they are truly eyesores. Seriously, if you're looking for an instant headache, just stare at it for 20 seconds.

The jerseys are in celebration of Social Media Night, and they were created from fan submitted Snapchat selfies.

While we applaud a minor league team's attempt at a unique promotion, we think these uniforms might be a little too crowded. Sometimes, crowdsourcing your promotional campaigns can end well, but other times, leaving these decisions up to the fans can seem better in theory.
