World Advertising Gift Exchange (WAGE) selected Lewiston, Maine-based Geiger and the Liv promotion as winner of the 2010 International Carl Rosenfeld Award for best Promotion of the Year at its 52nd annual meeting in Hong Kong, May 2010.
Jo-an Lantz, MAS, executive vice president of Geiger, presented the Liv as the U.S. entry for Best Promotion/Item of the year. The Liv, endorsed by four-time Grammy award winner Olivia-Newton John, is a FDA-certified medical device developed to assist women and increase the effectiveness of breast self-exams. Geiger received the award for this entry among entries from WAGE members worldwide.
“My dream is that all women in the world will have a Liv and love themselves enough to take charge of their own breast health,” said Olivia Newton-John. “Olivia’s dream is our mission,” added Lantz. “Businesses that provide the Liv to women as a promotional item are assisting women in the very important mission of taking charge of their own health.”
