Feedback Shows Power Meeting Austin Successful for All Attendees
The feedback is in: Power Meeting Austin was one of the most successful Power Meetings to date! The event was held May 11 through 14 in Austin, Texas.
Promo Marketing’s Power Meetings are quickly becoming the industry standard for creating lasting supplier-distributor relationships. The unique one-on-one private meeting format is known for fostering new business relationships and solidifying orders right in the meeting—something that is hard to do at a larger industry event. The attendees, 45 highly regarded supplier companies and 40 top performing distributor sales companies, leave meetings with unique ideas and a renewed passion for the industry.
Attendees from the Austin event are still buzzing with excitement. Beth Mungle, marketing supervisor for Magna-Tel Inc., Cape Girardeau, Mo., told Promo Marketing that Power Meeting events are “hands down one of the most worthwhile events we attend as a supplier.” Mungle continued, “It is a great opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing clients and to meet with potential clients that may never have considered stopping by our booth at a trade show because they 'already know what we do.'
“No other event in the industry gives you this opportunity,” Mungle said. “We leave the Power Meetings with action items on essentially everyone that we meet with.”
Distributors were satisfied with the event as well. “I walked away with relationships with some suppliers I didn't know were in existence, and because of it I have great ideas to bring back to my clients and prospects,” Heath Devore, president of distributor company imageOne Uniforms, North Jackson, Ohio, said. “I learned about some new items in our market I didn't know about and I feel more confident than ever before based on the knowledge I received from the meetings with my suppliers.”
Mungle and Devore weren’t the only ones who felt the meetings were a big success. In fact, 100 percent of distributors and suppliers agreed that after attending Power Meeting Austin, they would attend a future Power Meeting. Even better, 100 percent of suppliers are expecting to receive business as a result of the event and 100 percent of distributors expect information obtained at the event will be used in their purchasing decisions.
