Midlothian, Texas-based Ennis Inc. announced its Leipsic, Ohio location recently received the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Certification (COC). The certification gives Ennis‐Leipsic the ability to place and print the FSC logo on projects that meet the strict standards of FSC COC criteria. Ennis–Leipsic joins Ennis companies Admore of Macomb, Mich. and Adams McClure of Denver, as Ennis facilities holding FSC COC Certification. Ennis–Leipsic is a long‐run and jumbo-roll forms manufacturing facility.
The mission of the FSC is to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests. The FSC gives the assurance that forest management does not put the forest's natural heritage at risk, and that management's efforts are appropriate. The FSC certification displays compliance with the highest social and
environmental standards on the market.
