Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant, Freeport, N.Y., announced it has developed various ways of printing on Custom Chocolate Buttons (the supplier's proprietary M&M'S-like candy) and other confectionery items utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and a proprietary candy imprinting process. The initial rollout is with the Custom Printed Chocolate Buttons, with additional products including gumballs, Reese's Pieces and others added in the short term.
The Custom Chocolate Buttons offer a significantly lower level of pricing and significant margin opportunity. Available in a variety of colors and packaging options, the candies allow for multiple messages and varied branding.
"Our main goal in developing this new line was to offer a quality alternative in taste and imprint that our distributor customers can sell to the ever expanding market," said David Miller, Chocolate Inn/Taylor & Grant's president of sales and marketing.
