Charles River Apparel Introduces New Director of Design
Charles River Apparel, the supplier based in Sharon, Mass., introduced Tsedenia Kiros as director of design to its production team. Kiros has more than nine years of retail design experience, most recently as senior designer for the Greg Norman Collection, where she spearheaded the women’s golf apparel line.
“We searched extensively for a designer who would make an immediate impact in the development of the Charles River Apparel brand,” said Rainer Friedrich, vice president of production and sourcing for Charles River Apparel. “Tsedenia’s specialized experience with performance apparel, on-site visits to garment factories, and aptitude for customer focus groups made her an ideal choice for our production team.”
Kiros earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in international design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After living in the heart of New York City for the last 13 years, she is excited about her relocation to the Boston area, where she will be developing both the men’s and women’s collections for Charles River Apparel.
“I believe my retail background and experience will help Charles River Apparel establish itself as a brand name in the industry,” Kiros said. “I am thrilled to be associated with a family-oriented company, and am eager to bring innovation and new fashion-forward designs to the apparel line.”
