BIC Graphic Supports Wounded Warrior Project, Donates More Than $83,000
BIC Graphic, Clearwater, Fla., is continuing to support the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). The promotional products supplier is guaranteeing a minimum donation of $100,000 in support of its mission to honor and empower wounded warriors in 2015.
Upon announcing the partnership in January, BIC Graphic made a donation of $50,000 to WWP. BIC Graphic is also donating $2 for each order of select BIC Graphic products. So far, BIC Graphic has raised $33,184 in proceeds through the end of March 2015.
WWP has a vision of fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of injured service members in the nation's history. The Jacksonville, Florida-based organization works toward that vision by providing 20 programs and services structured to engage service members, nurture their minds and bodies, and encourage their economic empowerment. All programs are provided free of charge for warriors and their families.
"The industry's response to our partnership with WWP has been overwhelming," said Emmanuel Bruno, vice president and general manager for BIC Graphic North America. "Our customers have been volunteering their support and promoting our efforts—we are ahead of our originally projected proceeds and hope to keep the momentum going!"
The partnership will be supported by a year-long campaign including trade print and online media placements, event sponsorships, social media, and promotions.
