Ad Bands Releases Reflectionband
Ad Bands, Hot Springs, Ark., announced it has added Reflectionband to its product line.
The new item is an automotive after-market accessory that is applied and affixed to the rear-view mirror frame of any year, make or model of automobile or truck. It has five customizable areas to display a messages or logos.
"These bands can be customized to an organization's exact printing and color specifications, are manufactured using high-grade silicone rubber, are resistant to extreme heat and cold temperatures, and are UV protected," said Ad Bands' strategic marketing manager Jason Risner. "These features, along with the direct position in front of drivers, make them ideal for public service messaging, as well as general marketing needs."
The New Mexico Department of Transportation uses Reflectionband to spread the messages of three of its public awareness campaigns: ending impaired driving, eliminating texting while driving and reminding the driver and passengers to buckle their seat belts.
"We chose Reflectionband because we felt like this product was new and innovative," Robert Archuleta, its director of the Highway Safety Office, said. "It's really a product that is right in the driver's face, continuously. It serves as a constant reminder of important messaging that we're trying to get across to our public, and that’s to prevent injury and death."
