Printing Industries of America Calls for Congress to Reform Tax Code

Printing Industries of America (PIA) participated in a joint press conference held by the Reforming America's Taxes Equitably Coalition and the Coalition for Fair Effective Tax Rates (CFETR), collectively representing more than 1,500,000 businesses ranging from corporate rate payers to small mom-and-pop printers paying individual tax rates. PIA continues to educate Congress on the concept that tax reform should be viewed through effective tax rates—the amount of taxes businesses actually pay. Rather than promote tax preferences, PIA looks to keep effective tax rates front and center for lawmakers and highlight inequities of the code for businesses of all sizes.
