The Promo Marketing 2017 Top 50 Distributors List

For more than 10 years, Promo Marketing has assessed the most successful promotional products distributors. The 2017 Top 50 Distributors list is the most comprehensive ranking of the biggest companies working today, ranked by 2016 sales volume. The list serves as a barometer of industry health, and provides a measuring stick for distributor companies looking to take their sales to the next level or see where they rank among their peers.

For this year’s Top 50 Distributors list, we evaluated more than 150 companies totaling more than $4.7 billion in revenue. There was one new addition to the top 10, and several companies made the list for the first time. Eight of the top 10 distributors saw increased promotional products sales compared to the prior year, with five of those distributors posting double-digit percentage increases.

In addition to 2016 promotional products sales volume, the list includes:

• Total sales volume for 2016 (promotional products sales plus other revenue)
• Location and principal(s)
• Prior year rank
• Number of employees and locations
• Listing of large distributors that chose not to report sales figures
• Notes on acquisitions that occurred in 2016
