Chicago-based R.S. Owens has completed the American Society of Safety Engineers annual professional awards.

Chicago-based R.S. Owens' "Elegance in Awards and Gifts" catalog received an award for Best Supplier Retail Catalog at this year's Awards and Recognition Association (ARA Show). The Best Supplier Retail Catalog is determined by a panel of trophy retailers who evaluate supplier catalogs for how well they present the supplier's line and enable dealers to merchandise product and ultimately close sales to customers.

As part of the R.S. Owens' Four Star Recognition Program, company president Scott Siegel, MAS, awarded R.S. Owens' 2009 President's Award to Barb LaMonte, customer service professional, during a company-wide celebration.  The President's Award is the highest honor of Owens' Recognition Program, and includes an etched glass award, as well as tickets and expenses to attend the 2011 Oscars.

Chicago-based Award and frame supplier R.S. Owens & Co. announced the expansion of its Quick Ship program, which ships imprinted awards three days after receiving approved art. Currently, 50 awards are available under the Quick Ship program.

Chicago-based R.S. Owens division manager Jim White celebrated his 50th anniversary as an R.S. Owens employee this month. White was surprised with a custom-made 50 Year Service Award recognizing his anniversary, a 40" flat-screen television and a large card signed by all 150 employees.
