Hub Pen Company, Braintree, Mass., announced that the company has hired Madhu Shenoy as lean manufacturing manager of its facility in Braintree. Shenoy is an expert in lean manufacturing, holds a Six Sigma Black Belt and has a proven track record in driving exceptional quality standards and operating performance for global customers.

Hub Pen Company has recognized Tom Flanagan of Flanagan Associates for having the largest sales dollar increase in the U.S. for the year, and Lisa Bennet for having the largest percentage sales increase. Chura Sales Ltd. was acknowledged for having both the largest percentage and dollar increase in Canada.

Hub Pen Company has announced several hires across multiple departments this week. Sara Parmenter has joined the company as human resources manager, Ryan Patterson was hired for the company's sales team and Lee Cullen was hired to fill the new position of sales and marketing coordinator. In addition, Hub Pen Company has promoted Anthony Abatzis to sales executive.

Newton Manufacturing Company, the distributor based in Newton, Iowa, named the company's top 10 suppliers from 2012 this week.

Hub Pen Company, located in Braintree, Mass., received the PPAI Supplier Star for the S10 Category ($20,000,001 - $50,000,000 in annual sales) at the PPAI Awards Presentation & Reception on January 16 during The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas. This is the second year in a row that the company has received the award, and in 2010 and 2011, Hub Pen was honored as a finalist, receiving the Award of Merit.

iPROMOTEu hosted its Ninth Annual "Thank You" Reception in Las Vegas during The PPAI Expo. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band impersonators provided fantastic entertainment, while Paul Bellantone, president and CEO of PPAI, extended words of welcome to the crowd of approximately 350 iPROMOTEu affiliates, prospective affiliates, guests and representatives of some of iPROMOTEu's leading preferred suppliers.

Braintree, Massachusetts-based Hub Pen Company has recently hired Mike McMillan as director of national accounts. In this position, McMillan is responsible for building sales and fostering relationships with some of Hub's largest national accounts.  

A 24-year industry veteran, McMillan has spent his entire promotional industry career with another top-40 supplier. He has a bachelor's degree in business from Howard Payne University where he was also a defensive tackle for the football team.

Jornik Manufacturing Corp., the Stamford, Connecticut-based supplier, on December 10 announced that Jeremy Ratcliff has been hired as national sales manager. Since 2003, Ratcliff has served in various supplier sales capacities at Hub Pen, Lanco and Vantage Apparel, and was a Cyrk distributor prior to moving to the supplier side.

Hub Pen Company, a top 50 supplier from Braintree, Mass., has hired Simone Coffran-Tessier as accounting manager. In this position she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of Hub Pen Company's accounts receivables and payables.
