Crystal D hired two new production artists and one supply chain professional. Kyle Nordby was hired as a production artist. He is responsible for preparing artwork for the production process. He is a former business owner and freelance designer. His skills are broad—encompassing graphic layout and design, website design, animation, video, and interactive video.

Crystal D donated crystal awards to three industry organizations: the Upper Midwest Association of Promotional Professionals (UMAPP), the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) and the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA). The company also contributed to the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF).

Crystal D is now offering 54 awards with Quick Ship service, and is also introducing a new pricing program called "We Love to Say Yes!" The changes took effect on October 1. More than 50 awards now qualify for Quick Ship service with Crystal D. These awards are available to ship the next day after art approval without incurring a rush charge. These awards are clearly marked in the 2014 catalog and on the Crystal D website with a new icon.

Chuck Dahlgren, president of St. Paul, Minnesota-based supplier Crystal D, was recognized on September 24 at the Minnesota Manufacturing Awards ceremony organized by Minnesota Business magazine.

Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., has announced several personnel changes in its offices. The company has hired two new employees, one employee has been transferred to customer service, and Kay Larsen has retired.

Employees of Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn., donated 13 units of blood through the American Red Cross Bloodmobile. The blood drive took place on May 13 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Crystal D, the awards supplier based in St. Paul, Minn., launched the Lead Aviator automated marketing system last month. The Lead Aviator automated marketing system allows dealers to create email marketing campaigns that deliver professionally-written content out to their prospects on a consistent basis.
