The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants are divisional rivals, having one of the most competitive rivalries in MLB history. The rivalry's win ratio is unusually close for professional sports, the Giants only leading by 27 games out of the 2,362 total played. This year, the teams are currently only 6.5 games apart. (The Dodgers are 27-36, the Giants 33-29.) The San Francisco Giants are the current World Series Champions, and were also champions in 2010.
