Ellis continued, “Our view is that our industry has an opportunity to offer a real service to our end-buyer by offering a safe product option. Ideally, we would like to see a sort of 'Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval' for those products in our industry that have been fully tested for compliance with the various standards out there, including Prop 65, HR 4040/Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, and all applicable FDA regulations.”
