The event was held at Miller's Bay in Oshkosh, one of 12 cities across Wisconsin participating in the fun. In total, more than 9,300 people were "freezin' for a reason" across the state, raising nearly $1.9 million for local Special Olympic athletes. The funds will be used by nearly 10,000 athletes with cognitive disabilities to experience the joys of participation in sports and competition with their peers.
