The Mac Observer reports that Apple’s chief financial advisor, Peter Oppenheimer, has been boasting about the iPod shuffle’s dominance in the market, saying that only 11 months after its release, it comprised 58 percent of all sales of digital media players. A great deal of the power behind the iPod is its superb expandability—analysts expect that Apple will be refurbishing its iPod offerings once again in the near future, which means more potential for profit.
