I had plans. Oh, I had plans. Big, impressive plans that glittered in the sun. Plans with the gravity of small planets. Plans that would inspire other plans, and those plans would be for monuments to my original plans, because to look directly at my true plans would be impossible. And then I got a 101-degree fever a few days before my flight to Vegas, and my plans changed into several gallons of OJ and antibiotics.
