The Rise and Fall of My Favorite Mug and the Spiders from Mars

This is my mug.

I got it many years ago when I worked at a local newspaper. I was covering a Degas exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the curator gave me the mug as a thank-you after I interviewed her. I've held on to my "Degas Mug" (even though the print is actually Renoir) ever since.
