June Story Teaser
I know most of you are just getting our May issue, but I thought it might be fun to tease some of the stuff I'm working on for June. Not that I'm not always excited about what I'm working on, but I think I have some particularly cool material in the works for June, such as:
- An article on "X ways to use Calendars that you never knew about." Like pens and drinkware, it can be tough writing about calendars because they're such a straight-forward and familiar product. I think I've dug up some tips and advice though that covers a good range between the creative and the practical and is maybe a little less well-trod than the standard "calendars have a great cost-to-impression rate and earn you reorders like whoa" spiel you hear all the time. So, excited for an informative article here!
- My game and toys article is also shaping up to be kind of cool. My intent is to write about different categories of toys (tactile, creative, athletic/outdoors, etc.) and give a little useful information on each. Some interviews for this one are still up in the air on this one, but if I can get ahold of everyone I'd like to, the article should be a pretty good read.
- I'm also working on a bunch of new video stuff. I've almost wrapped up the final version of a new animation for the site (you can see the first one here), as well as some new product review videos (my first of which you can see here). I'm still learning my way around video (and also how to make video that is remotely interesting), so my turnaround time on these isn't too awesome right now. As I learn my way around making video though, you all should be seeing more and more of this type of stuff in the future. Exciting I know! I mean, who doesn't like shiny moving pictures, especially over my plodding, dullsville prose?
So, lots of exciting stuff for June. Until next week everyone!
