With the Brother DTG Baby Platen, apparel decorators can broaden their services into a range of markets that cater to infants up through toddlers. Day care centers, baby product retailers, hospitals, birthing centers and more need bibs, onesies, tiny T-shirts, burping cloths and similar wearables with a design and a logo.
The soft feel of digital printing makes this an ideal decorating technique for children’s wear and opens doors to providing personalized small orders at a profit.
This specialty platen measures 7x8˝ (17.8x20.3 cm). The operator opens the garment and slides it over the platen. The Brother Baby Platen works on all models of GT printers including the GT-541, GT-782, the GT-3 series and GTX.
If the operator is using GTX Graphics Lab, there is a template in the drop-down box that will change the canvas to 7x8˝. Otherwise a platen can be created in any standard graphics software program.
