UPS claims it will now serve more ZIP codes—more than 26,000 total— and businesses by 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. than any other carrier.
Its competitor FedEx has been expanding a similar service called First Overnight, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
UPS' overnight delivery provides service Monday through Saturday. Guaranteed, on-time weekday deliveries are available to major cities by 8 a.m.; most other U.S. cities by 8:30, 9, 9:30 or 10 a.m.; and additional locations by 10:30, 11 or 11:30 a.m.
