Tekweld Announces New National Account Director

Tekweld, Hauppage, NY, announced the hiring of Tom Kronberger as national account director.

Kronberger’s primary responsibilities will include developing business for Tekweld’s large accounts through strategic meetings, and the use of Tekweld’s extensive product line, global sourcing, packaging solutions, and advanced decorating techniques.

Previously, Kronberger worked in a similar role for Lanco, where he was a key factor in transforming them from a smaller supplier to a Top 40 vendor. Most recently, Tom served as the vendor relations manager and marketing coordinator for Fully Promoted.

“Tom will be an incredibly powerful asset for us,” said Scott Slade, CEO at Tekweld. “His deep experience in the industry and strong ability to build relationships with customers in order to develop unique product solutions will help Tekweld maintain the solid growth trajectory we have experienced in recent years.”

The promotional products industry is in Kronberger’s blood, as he is the son of a successful promotional products distributor in the Northeast. Family is important to Kronberger, and he will be found managing his son’s little league team in his spare time.
